Unholy Alter

I have gone through the Dreadoth Temple and completed it. I then went to the Unholy Alter and tried to put the blood on it and all i get is it saying The Unholy Alter. I have backed away and tried several times and get the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks Bart of Austell

Do you actually have the quest to put the blood on the altar?

Did you talk to Vartugg again after rescuing Valdane? You need to in order to get the quest
