If you put a 1h weapon (say, a bastard sword) in one weapon slot and a short bow in another weapon slot, you cannot duel wield.. It says: "Not while holding a two handed weapon." .. or something like that. What this mod did was allowed you to set up various different "gear sets".. So let's say you're playing a ranger, with weapon specialization in bastard swords:
Mainhand: Bastard Sword - used as two handed weapon
Mainhand: Bastard Sword - Offhand: Shield
Mainhand: Bastard Sword w/ Bow - used as one handed weapon
Mainhand: Bastard Sword - Offhand: Short Sword
Mainhand: Bastard Sword - used as one handed weapon
I believe it also allowed you to swap out various other pieces of equipment all at once, (boots, cloaks, etc).
This way you do not have to open up your inventory screen to take your bow out of your weapon slot and put your offhand-weapon or shield into your offhand slot every time you want to switch back and forth during combat.
Anyone know the name of a mod which does this?
