HELP with Blade of Bacca

OK, so I went to the ritual area in the lower Kashyyyk shadowlands and defeated the creature before i received the quest...Problem is, i don't have the Blade of Bacca in my possession and I cant call another creature out, or at least don't know how.
My question is, how do I complete the quest without having to start over (I had a hell of a time with those Mandolorians) or killing Freyyr? Are their any options, anything I can do.

So, basically what you need here is the Blade of Bacca to continue on the quest? Dunno if getting the blade in your inventory is enough, but you could always resort to a save game editor or cheat using the console to give yourself the blade and see if that works. It is quite possible the game will also rely on other triggers and make you unable to give the blade to Freyyr (sp?) even with it in your inventory. If that is the case, your only option would be to reload from a prior save.

Yeah, that is one thing. You have to talk to Freyyr before you kill the beast as it won't trigger if you don't have the quest. So get the quest first. Nothing you can do now, but load an earlier save. Sorry.

that sucks....I should just kill him LOL. Oh well. I will have to reload and start saving more often.
