Swashbuckler HLAs

Post by Craig »

Just wondering why my swashbuckler doesn't get all the same HLAs as a normal thief. I don't get The Assassination technique. I'm certain my Record page lists me as having a back stab multiplier though.

Do different Kits get different HLAs?

Not much point having assassination when your multiplier is 1, which is all a Swashbuckler should get. Some mods put items into the game that increase backstab, Ruad for example, but obviously that shouldn't apply to Swashbucklers and therefore the vanilla game doesn't waste time giving you an HLA you shouldn't be able to use.

You get the fighter's Whirlwind instead of Assasination. It's a shame you don't get GWW.
You now bear the awesome responsibility of the Metal "Unit". Gussets of wind, seams like reality, pockets of resistance, the seat of power, and legs as flared as your temper. Polish it well; the onus is now on you.

Whirlwind is already overpowered for swashbucklers. A level 40 swashbuckler using whirlwind has +4 to hit and damage compared to a fighter using GWW.
