Loot bug

I have a serious problems with looting in the original campaign. Nearly all of the containers so far were empty, except the ones which drop fixed items. On top of that the wolves and other animals doesn't drop me leather. I have the original NWN2 and the expansions MotB and SoZ and they are all patched up. When I was playing the OC without the expansions there wasn't any problems with the loot and now...well, any suggestions what I'm supposed to do?

animal pelts in OC were reduced drastically as loot with the latest patches / expansion,
most sellers, however, have unlimited stocks of them.

dunno about other stuff you might be referring to.
