My games not working (never has for some reason) and I just wondered if anyone could help.
You see, I bought it from pc world late last year and went home and installed it.
I tried to play but it said Star Wars knights of the old republic has stopped working. I looked on the web and found a solution. They said I had to go to file front and download some Mss32 something to do with sound I think and it worked fine from there. All until I got to the sith in the sith base on the first level. Now he makes no sound some reason (I just ignored that) And then i go to a spaceship, So I kill all the troops and move on to these credits featuring all the character so far. And then the movie, some sith lord is talking to a dude and the dudes saying how hes lost the key and the prisoners have escaped. Then hes talking the other sith that was at the base. Hes still not making any sound. Then me and the trader (I think he was a trader) are in some sith looking place. There a totally grey door shaped thing. I can see another door if I look down through the grey door thing. In the middle of the room there some big object and round that there's a door. So I go through the door and im in the room the movie was in so the two siths are there. I click one.. nothing happens click the other on the movie starts again. The movie goes through and im in the same room with the siths in. So I looked for the a solution and couldn't find one. I reinstalled the game and downloaded a vista fix file opened it a readme and the Mss32 file were in there. I read the read me and followed the instructions I just had to do the same as last time. So I did it and tried the game. Made my character and then the first movie about the reginstation act but It dident have any sound this time unlike before I uninstalled it. Now I was in the room with the lockers just like before I installed it but the guy wasent thier so I couldent start the mission. I tried running it in every compatibillity mode but it did nothing. Please help if you can. Im really sorry that this post is so long. And last of all my computers running on Windows Vista Home Premium.
