Hey everyone,
I know most people haven't had the game long and the multiplayer continent is a huge area... But I was curious if anyone else has assembled the townstones and placed the tentstone in the inner sanctum.
When you do that, you pick up a book called 'Trials of Gallus' that seems to be an archiac reference to some quest. Now, after I did the stones, I went to Grescal and found the way to the lost pyramid of the dead. I went through there and found 'Eastern Island'. And from there (I didn't go to the lost pyramid of spirits) but I went to another map that went UP from Eastern Island and there were a variety of creatures. None of this really related to the book, but the reason I am posting is because I can't find the lost pyramid of the dead now... I spent 2 hours wandering the endless dunes today looking for it.
Does the lost pyramid only show up after you've completed the townstones quest? (which sucks, because now I have to get ALL the stones again since you lose them when you place them). And if so, that makes it an awfully long play session since you can't save in multiplayer (it took me like 3 hours just to find the pyramid and eastern island, much less whatever else needs to be done... and AFTER finishing the townstones quest).
It's kinda cool finding the secret area, but now I can't find it again And even if I do, I'm just going to have to stumble around until I can figure out the extended quest. If anyone has done this, let me know. If not, and you're interested, let me know and we'll do it together! (i'm about lvl 58 now).

Fallran stone is in a cave just outside of town... It's tough to see in the blizzard and all... But if you go out of town, past the tower, and stick to the LEFT HAND SIDE, you'll see a Furok cave entrance.
In the middle of the cave, there's a dead priest and the Fallran stone. Kill all the stuff and get it
By the way, I didn't resurrect him and when I got back to town they were like 'You didn't even resurrect him!?' so you may want to do that

Heh, You would believe how hard it is to find someone near my same level. Ok, me and 2 other friends (lvls 62, 59, 59) finally got bored of just killing and farming loots, so we decided to do the stone quests. After the quest got bugged 3 times, it finally worked right, we got the book (and the crap loot) from inside that 3 room dungeon, and even BEAT the pit of despair (for another 2 pieces of crap loot, and 4 hours of wasted time in that huge dungeon with lack of any light). So I'm hearing alot about the pyramids in the endless dunes, can you shine any light on which direction they are from the town? Thanks ahead of time.

The pyramids are an INCREDIBLE pain to find. Or at least I spent days wandering around endless dunes with a friend looking for them. Here's the big secret
The NPCs say it's way off to the SE in the desert... But the map is spherical. So if you leave from Tess (or right outside the blacksmith) and head straight SouthWEST, you'll go right to the pyramids.
Which brings me to another point...
Everyone I've spoken with now says that they believe the trials of gallus book to be storyline only. Not that i'm obsessed by that, because it doesn't make much sense other than the 'head to the mesa dunes' (which I thought to be pyramid)... Don't know what the treble stones could be... But there's also something about an eye (maybe even a 'crystal eye')
I know that there's a fury eye you can get in Single Player that doesn't apparently do too much, but if you head SW heading toward the pyramids, you will pass by a fury skull. Maybe you bring the eye to the skull? Or pyramids? I've cleared the pyramids now and couldn't find anything quest-related...
Anyway, any thoughts/finds would be appreciated. Hope the info helps!

Hmm. I found the pyramid, took us to Eastern Island. From Eastern Island there is a tower that you walk all the way up, and a platform to take you all the way back down past floor level and into a dungeon (the volcanic something or other) mobs there wern't too tough, basically the same things from where you get the trial book after placing all the stones. It is a huge dungeon, we cleared the entire thing (with no loot worth mentioning, and only 1 or 2 'named' mobs) and found another platform which took us up to another pyramid called the Pyramid of the dead or something of that sort, it was only a tunnel leading back out into the Endless Desert (boggle). So we restarted, went back to the first pyramid, and found a cave in the Eastern Island, there is a black square on the ground that you can tell is where a platform should be, pull the lever and 3-5 minutes later a platform comes down and takes you all the way up to a tower with a merchant lady, the lady speaks much gibberish and sells very very newbie items. (Small health potions, etc). The tower is huge, and there is another one just as big right next to it, i went through both, killed everything in them without any odd items showing up, so im wandering around killing things in what I thought was a whole new area above the map that most people know of. Then I see this sign that says 'Elldum - 80' and im completely boggled. I follow it and sure enough, there is Eldum. I have no clue what I'm supposed to be doing, and the Eastern Island has nothing on it that is worth mentioning. If anyone could shed some light on this, I'd be very thankful.
