Sup everyone im new to the D2 forum here on gamebanshee and was wondering about a few things.

Uno) Can a MA assassin survive in hell?

Dos) Really how hard is hell?

Tres) Just freckin answer the question already!

Quatro, for get it 4) No I mean truthfully!!!

5)

6) (Sounds of screaming end ubruptly) Great job you've just killed a new member to the D2 forums...

Ok for real do any of you have any tips for me in the higher difficulties and any tips such as what are good items and etc for a dual martial arts assassin.

Maybe some of you have seen me I play on East under the Account of The9Gates and my character is a level 24 assassin called SabrielOfSins

Hi Kool69 and welcome to the D2 forum at Gamebanshee!

1. Yes, but it's quite challenging unless you have very good equipment.

2. Quite hard, the monsters are much faster and have twice as many hitpoints as before. Certain monster types are made much harder, and some ranged attacks are deadly if you get only a seconds lag.

3-6. You don't feel well? Dissociative personality disorder?

It has become extremely popular among Assa's to use Chaos, the godly runeword for Claws. With this claw, you get +1 to Whirlwind (not for barbs only) , so this is the reason why you see a lot of WW:ing Sins nowadays. Apart from Chaos, Bartuk's and Natalya's are of course very good endgame claws, as are any rare with good +skills.

I play on Europe, but I think there are some other members who play on US East.

Thanks for the help, sorry for 3-6, that little demonic 2nd head i got started typing

I was thinking natalyas set + a jade talon for resists in hell and a chaos in other difficulties, of course when and if i can get that stuff

There are many possible combinations, depending on your build and what items you find. Bartuk's/Jade talon is probably the best combination for a Kickasin, Nat's full set including claw works best if you plan to do mostly physical damage.

And yes, resists, resists are very important now in Hell.

now there's a REALLY good question ^^ I have yet to find one part of the set and I've been looking more or less for half a month

I found Natalyas soul YAY!!! well traded for it at least, i think the difficulty of getting the parts of Nats set will got like this. (From easiest to hardest) boots, helm, claw, armor... How imn gonna get the armor, i dont know... but hey at least i have 1 out of 4 instead of 0 out of 4... Good luck on finding some garazdawi!!! Youll need it...

Congrats Kool!

I very seldom trade because of the risk with duped items - I wouldn't want my accounts deleted. Instead, I try to trade with friends, or play in small parties and share the stuff we find.

I have Nat's helm, nothing more, I guess my hubby's MA Assa wants it so I'll save it. (My Assa is a Blender Fury built, so she needs totally different equipment.)

@Garaz: I never seem to find the best items for the class I'm playing

For instance, I've found most of the IK-set but I have no Barb

I don't have that problem as I have atleast one char in each class....

to night a couple of friends and me are trying this new thing. We're gonna fast boost a char to hell and get the rune from meph's stone and do it all over again to get high lvl runes ^^ I wonder how long it will take to do one run through....

@Garaz: I'd like to play more classes, but with the limited time I have to spend on playing, I have choosen to focus on my 2 sorces (Meteorb, pure Fire) and next up is my Blender Fury Sin and a Tesladin (just because I work with MRI

).

Tell me how the Hell forge rushes went, and how long it took. Do you use gate chars for the blocking quests?

Traps work if you get good skill level, idk assassins are kind of difficult for questing... all about the blades she be runnin a muck wit
Assassins are good PK if you can make a nice one.

Yes, I will be online tonight, probably off and on between 20-24 Swedish time. I'm usually online late in the evening, after 22-23.

@ROFL, I've no idea what happens if you use both Nat's claws

The thought has never occured to me

I would think you get no extra bonuses though, but just the effect on the claw itself.

It would help a great deal if you could PM me a list of stuff you have that would be suitable to trade for Nat's helm? I need mainly sorceress and bowazon stuff, but generally good things such as medium runes or small charms with nice stats are always welcome

I'll check what I have in that series... I don't think I have any bowazon or sorc stuff (as I use them my self), gonna check my rune stash ^^

, besides when looking for runes I found that I just used all the good ones anyways....

right now I'm more into HC though.... it's really exciting watching out so that you don't die...

Yep, I also plan to play more HC (I used to play both SC and HC in 1.09), but it difficult to find the time since it's a lot slower because you have to be much more careful.
