I got this idea earlier tonight when I chatted to Kool69 ingame: I should start an item fund for Gamebanshee members who play on Europe Ladder (because that's where I play).
If any of you are interested, it will work like this:
You post in this thread if you need some low-medium level items, for instance Beginner MF-gear like Tarnhelm or Chance Guards, gear for your merc, or low-medium set or unique items for levelling your char. I will then check my mules, or save items for you, and we can meet ingame.
The reason why I thought this was a good idea, is that I do a lot of MF:ing, and I play with Dottie and my husband Silur, who also do a lot of MF:ing. By now, we have found almost every item in the game except some extremly hard to find things, and every time I do MF-runs I just throw away or don't pick up lots of stuff that might be useful for other players. My Meteorb sorc is now lvl 91 and has over 500 MF. She does Meph in a few seconds, and every time I do River of Flame or Baalruns, I get lots of items of which I save maybe 5%.
Obviosly, I will not give away any Anni's, SoJ:s, runes or elite items that are difficult to find, but maybe somebody needs a Griswold or Trang armour or an Aldur's or IK weapon? Or a Kuku Shakako or Magewrath for your Rouge merc or for levelling your Bowazon? Items I find often I gladly give away for free if somebody needs. (I can also trade items for perfect gems, since I use perfect gems to reroll charms in the Horadric cube - 3 pgems and a charm rerolls the mods on the charm, but you need a charm with high item level, ie a charm dropped by a high level monster, in order to get good charms. I ususally reroll charms I find at Hell Pindle or in Worldstone Keep).
So what do you think? Obviously the game is more fun when you find the items yourself, but in order to start finding good items, you need to build up good MF-chars, which takes time - also, often you don't find the items you want even if the item itself is not difficult to find. (For instance, I did not find a +3 fire skills circlet for my pure fire sorc until last week, and I've been playing 4 months now!)

What is the ED on your Grandfather? I might need one, I still haven't found one, strangely enough.
On Rouge merc's I mostly use Tal's mask for life leach and res. The hubby's necro has a rouge with Windforce, and she has Mavina's diadem for IAS. For sorc armour I use Vipermagi or Tal's, or Ormus if I find one with a good +3 skill. Did you have anything particular in mind?

Well i know this thread is a "few" months old. But i have found a clan in Us west that does the same thing. Their channel is Op clan_true_ there not really with it right now but they try to help when they can. most of the clan will rush you for free and not try to get your hellforge quest from ya. If your in west realm and you see some one with true in there name and you need help let them know. hey feel free to join out clan (yes i am a member) go to the channel and if theres a person there usually a bot that we use to help with the clan just leave a message saying you would like to join the clan. there shouldnt be a problem unless a guy named Dan_39 gives you problems just tell him to tell a guy named deathandwar he should send you to him.
