1.10 question

as my gaming PC is not connected to the internet, I usually make great use of the 'players 8' trick to get a decent challenge. since getting a CD with the 1.10 patch, though, it hasn't been working. is there any new way to do it?

Yeah, the way to do that has changed in 1.10.

To do the 8 player trick, type in "/players 8" without the quotation marks. And you should be able to see something like "players set to 8" or something similar to that.

You make the gaem think that there are X players in the game (maximum 8) by tyoing "/players X", this makes the monsters much more though but the experience award is also much greater. With /players 8 it will only take like 4-6 quill rats to get you to first level. It is however only the monsters HP that increase so they cannot hit you or damage you any more than they could before... they just take alot longer to kill. It is very useful when you want to level up fast in single player games.
