European Final beta begins.

Post by Xandax »

European Final beta begins according to this press-release.
Have created my account and am downloading a patch.... excited to see what WoW is about.
Saturday, 8th of January 2005, Paris, France:
Following the rapid sell-out of the European pre-order campaign and the successful start of the localised Closed Beta Test, we are happy to announce that the first phase of the European Final Beta Test of World of Warcraft starts now, in English, French and German. The first phase of the Final Beta Test will allow access to a select group of players: those who attained a beta key through the official Blizzard pre-order campaign, and current Closed Beta testers.

The first phase of the Final Beta Test will also allow the testing of the World of Warcraft localized server infrastructure under heavy loads. As soon as system stability allows, the second phase of the testing process will begin and more players will be added into the Final Beta Test. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests for beta accounts but there is always the possibility that we will be unable to meet demand, and we therefore strongly encourage motivated players to register an account as quickly as possible once the second phase of the Final Beta Test begins. More details regarding the second phase will be given shortly on http://www.wow-europe.com.

See you in Azeroth,

Blizzard Entertainment.

Now they are up and running again, but the whole world is so overcrouded that it's not fun at all... I'm gonna wait a couple of hours until I play again, then most people should have gone through the newbiew areas...

It is very hectic at the moment, so I've only played a little, simply to get my bearings of the interface.
The game seems pretty easy to get into, which is good for a MMOG.
There are some things that annoy me though - which I haven't found out if can be done yet.... but so far I've only seen limited bugs (lack of graphic icons) myself.

Tell me waht you want and I will point you to an appropriate addon. Blizzards UI sucks as it is, but with the right addons it can become really nice.

For all playing I'm garazdawi at En Final Beta 2

I think it is the game-mechanics that are limiting and not the interface, but will have to look that up once I get more time :)

Playing *andax-characters on En Beta 2 as well. (I think it was).
