Skillpoints question

Post by Xandax »

I was wondering.
I'm playing (amongst other things) a Warlock in European Final Beta.
There I just learned to use the sword (Wheee :D )

Now when I first looked at the Skill-screen for my character, it showed a bar and number up to 55. So I thought this was the max skill I could attain in the weaponskill.
However, then I reached 56 and it said up to ... I think 60 or something - can't remember.
What is the maximum skill a warlock can learn in his weapon, and does it differ from class to class?

Weapon skills have a maximum of charlevel*5, so if you're level 1, the max in any weapon you can use is 5, if you are level 10 it's 50 and if you are at maximum level (60) it's 300. If you learn to use a new wepaon class you first have to train up with it, because they start at 0.
This maximum is the same for all classes, though some races get a small bonus (i.e. Trolls have +5 bonus with throwing weapons, so they can reach a maximum of 305 at level 60).
There are three kinds of people that no one understands: geniuses, madmen and guys that mumble.
