Asheara's promise in Kurast

Anybody know why Asheara says something about the Iron Wolves not being needed in town anymore and that they can accompany me for free? They don't come along, and they're not free for hire. I've been playing for a couple of years but this mystery remains unsolved.

I haven't played Diablo 2 in a long time, but isn't there some kind of Mission that you have to complete before you can Hire them?
I decend from grace in arms of undertow...

What Asheara's comment about the town needing fewer Iron Wolves means, is that you can hire them. Initially when you come to Kurast, you can't hire then at all. You need to do the first quest in order to be able to hire one.

Have anyone tried to talk to Asheara with a character who have never talked to Kashya after killing blood raven? Perhaps you would get one for free then?

I don't think so. I always Hired a merc at Tristram. (wow I remembered the Name!!) I tried doing that, but my p.c crashed beacuse of my subwoffer. :mad: :mad: :o
