Hammerdins Still Viable?

I haven't installed Diablo 2 for a long time since my current computer refuses to let my play it properly :( but either way soon I plan to get a new computer and the thing that I really want to know, is whether Hammerdins are still viable builds in the lastest patch (1.11?).

I started making one in 1.10 before my computer explosion and that was certainly one of the most fun classes I've had in a while. Knowing how powerful a class it was, I know that Blizzard was ever likely to "rebalance" and anilhilate certain it along with other charcter groups.

Yes it is still viable, and there is a new unique large charm called the hellfire torch which adds 3 to a certain classes skills (paladin or any other class). Still owns the entire game. Still very fun to play. :D

Has the Paladin's skills been affected at all from the patch? There's really no dulling to the Hammerdin's edge?

Not as far as I can tell, although my hammerdin is currently only lvl 24. :D Also, I havent heard anyone talking about it online and people still are building hammerdins so I guess much must not have changed.

Patch 1.11 didn't change any skill.
