Problems with levels and XP

Post by Thunderbult »

I have just started as veteran (Knight). I thought it would be a great idea to take on another knight so that the mages won't be attacked as often. So now I've added Eva, she's only at level 30 for me and I'm at level 47. Since I started on the second time around I have gained XP to level twice but Eva hasn't levelled once....Shouldn't she gain more XP than my character when fighting enemies level 40-45????

Anyone who has a Solution?????

This is a bug.

She should automatically be within X level of you.

Welcome as a game tester who pay for a game not ready for release.

PS: Wait for a few patch before you play this buggy game again. Or feedback them, assuming they even listen.

I don't know if it's a "bug" or a "feature." If a companion gets far enough away from your main character's level (like 20 levels) then adding them from the inn should advance them to about that level. Since Eva is almost at that point for you, you might want to try sticking her in the inn and then adding her in a couple levels.

In the meantime, if you haven't tried out a pet yet, they can be fun.
