Curse bug?
One of my characters is a fighter dual to a combat mage.
The reason is to make him able to autocast an agressive curse (Damage Over Time) in order to keep the aggro. This works really well.
My problem comes when I try to increase the power of the curse, by adding points into the appropriate skill or by increasing intelligence.
The curse details show a (theorical) appropriate increase in terms of duration, damage per second, etc.
However, when applying it to ennemies, this is the other way around, I mean, the damage of the DOT is lower than before!
I tested that several times on the exact same ennemies (same name, same level).
The more you increase the power, the less damage you do.
Really annoying bug.
Has anyone experienced the same issue?
If yes, is there any fix available?
Thanks in advance.

The red numbers you see on screen do not always tell you how much damage your curse does over time.
The actual damage dished from your curse varies with monsters.
The right way to test is to curse a monster and see how much total hit points he loses because of that 1 curse. Do this many times with varying power of your curse, and see if you can find out a negative correlation.
I've solo played a cursing mage from level 3 to level 89. Never, ever got a problem. Her cursing damage dropped sometimes, but her cursing power kept increasing until the power of her curses have all max'ed out except for 1.
