When i got this game, i decided to play my hero to lvl 100, but it's "impossible", because highest lvl monsters are lvl 85 and my lvl 91 warrior doesn't get anymore exp. After i finished the game, i started looking for good items. Now i got games best melee helmet(helm of glory), best melee gloves(gauntlets of clensing fire), whole undying warlord set(but i don't use helm). So i can't find anything good anymore. But i might find better 2h-wpn than my storming hero's sword of mutilation. My combat mage friend got also games best unique items for combat mage, like runes of command, omniscient oracle(what ever , and so on. So now i don't have anything to do. I really hope people start making some plugins and mods for DS2 soon...

i'm currently lv 56 with my first and only char, and i'm already bored with this game lol
after playing diabloII for many a years, this game resembles it too much but is so far more inferior, that it's very tiresome. The possibility to have just about every character-type in your party is extremely boring.
Feeling bored or maybe not knowing what to do next is a more or less sure sign of computer game addiction.
Get Egosoft's "X2" or "X3", which includes an economical simulation. Once you played through the game's story you can keep on playing it for months. And if that is not enough it features a programming language, which you can access from inside the game and use to extend it. Complete addiction is guaranteed.
create a new female hero, train her with ranged & natural magic. Then only let her to wear "Tridal Armor"--my favorite, and then, solo & clear all level.
That's now I'm trying to. Funny, exciting, and very very hard.:laugh:
In my sight, wearing all the best is not the whole mean of RPG.
well i know it doesnt make my hero "best" when im using "best" items.
but my warriors "best" items doesnt give very much armor, they give a lot dmg once i found armor that gave over 800AC, but it didnt give any dmg. warlord cage(armor) gives only 350, but a lot dmg , i dont like high armor, but high dmg is nice ,so my "best" items gives a lot dmg, not armor
I also define best as "do alot of damage in little time" and therefore found the skill tree of DS2 quite a challange. My melee fighters do most damage through their critical hits. I also favoured speed skills over damage skills over resistance skills when I had to decide between i.e. +1% speed, +1% damage and +1% life.
There are still places where I should have improve my skills differently. Most skills do not need to have a level higher than 15-17 since one always finds and item later, which increases them. I wasted alot of points through this.
Heh, i wasted some points too in same way. I raised my alarcity to lvl 18 or something, and from my armors and other stuff i got maybe +5 to all melee skills... When i choosing what kind of hero i was making, i decided to make fast&deadly. Not very much hp, but base dmg is high(and critical hits too).
But yesterday i managed to lost my character.... I cant find any of my characters, they just disappared I afraid my warrior i lost foreverer............
, and so on. So now i don't have anything to do.
