Can't Find Taar

I am just starting act III and decided to go back and finish all the secondary quests that I can up to this point. I went back to the first town to get Taar in my party so I can acquire Taar's Investigation quest in act I. However, I cannot seem to find Taar. Even when I speak with the person in the inn that allows you to have previous characters join your team, Taar is not on the list. Can I find Taar anywhere else, or is this a bug in the game?

If you've never actually added Taar to your party, then she should still be where she starts the game: in Eirulan's great hall.

I've gone back to the Great Hall and Taar is not there. In fact, I've searched the entire city looking for Taar and still have not been able to find her. I've also downloaded the most recent patch for the game and still cannot find Taar. Any suggestions?

Been looking around for a solution for another bug and I see that the 2.2 doesn't cover this ... I think you are stuck unfortunately. And you aren't the only one with this from what I can see on the web.
