still need rouge stone. i was told i could get one from gorman at maer var house but he is hostile to me, where else can i find one and is there any way to get a hostile guy to talk to me??

There are several rogue stones around, one is on Temple Ruins, anyways its best not to try the twisted rune until high level, those guys are a very dificult battle.

Try the shelf behing the storekeeper in Mae'Var's guild house. There is one somewhere in that room, can't remeber exactly where. Also, try pickpocketing that guy? Maybe it will work??

Remember, you will have many other chances to get rogue stones later on in the game.

Ok there is one stone you got get at very begining of the game, after the irenics dungeon,
and there's a stone in the theives or the other guild in which you had to kill the leader i think, on either the third or the second floor, it might be behind one of the testing doors, or the brick patch.
there's definitly one, also you could get a stone from a shop in that Bridge/docks area
