A few questions (spoilers)

Hi all,

I have a few questions here I hope you can help me with :

1) One of the side quest is to find a Blacksmite near Helicos Pass. I have explored the area carefull but never found the dude. Where should I be looking for ?

2) I am presently at the Docks where I am supposed to get aboard a ship to sail to Crete. I have spoken with the Agent on the docks but I don't seem to be able to get on any ships. Is it what I must do or am I missing something ?

Answer to #2-

you don't climb on the ship and then you go somewhere. The captain of the ship next to the agent (should be with a yellow diamond near his head) is the one you need to talk to. He has no dialogue, instead he just has an option to sail to crete.

Well, At first that's what I thought but the captain doesn't seem to want to speak with me as he has no question mark or anything above his head. That's weird really.

Ahh, yeah, then there is a glitch. And you're not gonna like how to fix it.

Go to -My Documents- then -My games- then titan quest and find your character name near it. Should be under -Save data- and all.

Now, when you get that taken care of, you'll see a bunch of .que files in that folder. Organize them so that the date is descending (as in, highest date at top, oldest date at bottom). Delete three or four of the recent .que files, and you'll be able to talk to the dude again. You have to talk to that sage in purple robes before you can get on the ship, which I don't like, but meh.

Once you are able to talk to him again, as in he has a yellow ! above him, then you should be able to go on the ship.

If memory serves me, the blacksmith can be found just before a bridge leading to the Lower Delphi area. He's just off the top right of that bridge in a small stockaded area.

Ok Thanks for the info and sorry, I had no intention to spoil anything with my questions but you are right I will add it in the title next time I ask questions of that nature.

Welll, It's seems that this character is screwed. No matter how many files I delete, I deleted most of them now, the capitain of the ship won't give me the quest.

I tried deleting the files and it was a no go as well, any other suggestions?

I have no idea whatsoever, I didn't delete the character in question in case something comes up but I have started other ones.

A good thing for me, the glitch didn't appear as I am taking my 2 character through the game....

Hey!

This confused me too, because of the Helicos Pass bit. But it turns out he is through Helicos Pass and through the swamps. He is located in Lower Delphi. Before you cross the bridge leading south over the river, head to the top right corner of the map. You'll find him!

Actually if you stand near the bridge crossing the river you should notice a green mark on your compass, this means a merchant is near, just go toward it you should find it. You need to cut through the trees maybe thats what keeps many people from finding it
