Another skills questions

Post by Wurmer »

I am trying to built a Nature/Storm character(druid). I am unsure about what excactly to pick. He's only level 12 right now. I have max nimbus, a point or two in charged bolt (lightning strike), one in life generation aura, one point in wolf and I was about to take the Nature's Nymphe. I agree that's a weird combinaison of skill trees but what the heck, I am here to try stuff. I was thinking about getting max chain lighting for attack and max Nature Nymphe and also maybe Storm Nymphe.(sorry about the skill naming I am not to familiar with them yet). I don't know if relying on pets will be powerful enough. I don't see how I could improve my own strike force with the choices of skills I have made.

This was the first combo I tried. I took my character to about level 25. I found that relying on summons was a good way to die...alot. Some will say that wolves are excellent, that wasn't my experience with them at level 11. The key summon will be wisp with its mod eye of the storm. This will give the wisp an aura that maxed out will double your damage. Wisp's are also virtually invulnerable, having 99% immunities to damage. They suck otherwise at low level and without points in EoS, just hovering around you too much when battle is pitched, but that aura is a considerable plus. They do stick right by you most of the time so the aura will normally be in effect.

Chain lightning rocks, but it has a HUGE time delay for an attack skill. A second spamable attack is necessary. Ice Shards with all mods are cool, but then you have a split elemental attack, which is not all bad.

I'll give the nature aspect some thought, but if you choose a summon tree, choose just one and max it out. Nymph or wolves.

I would personnaly go more for the nymph than the wolves but as long as you choose only one like frodo said it will be good. Do you guys know if the storm wisp aura can boost the nymph power? Once you get elemental damage on her bow, if your wisp could pump it up it would be much better than wolves.
