laggyness

I just bought the game and i went and updated all the patchs and was trying to play the game but my mouse kept lagging like no other, so i tryed turning down all my graphic settings to low and i was still lagging. anyone have any ideas on whats goin on? i dont think its my graphics card because i can play oblivion and battlefield 2 without a problem but....... i dont know so any insight on what the problem is would be greatly apreciated.

what's ur cpu speed and memory?

edit - u likely have enough of both. you might just need to update your drivers for your card
