legendary items

I have just finished the legendary part with my 52 lvl conqueror. Now I am looking for the legendary items. I killed the Nehebkau (the guy in fayum oasis) several times (at least 50) but I got nothing, just some green items and those magical items. So could u advise any other place for searching legendary items???

here's how i'm used to farming gear: activate the fountain at olympia and kill typhon, then teleport to valley of the kings and kill the #2 telkine there. then exit game and go again.

Just curious. Are items drop capped only by your lvl or the game lvl (normal epic legendary) also affects the drops?

Drops are difficult to figure out in this game. It's not like Diablo where you can boost your magic find and start to get the gold items. Here I think it is a question of level. I did not get any legendary (violet) items until I killed the big yeti in act 3, epic level. my character was level 42 at the time. with my current character (soothsayer at level 53) i can find lots of legendary items doing typhon runs in epic mode/ i also got great drops from the majestic crates that open after you kill the sorceress who controls the clay soldiers in Chung'tun.
i think that the drops are a function of level and luck. i also note that if you start to pick up certain items then you are likely to get that kind of item dropped as a blue or violet. i have found a full set of battelmage for my character by doing typhon runs. the only repeat item in the set were the greaves which i scored 3 times before completing the set. the last one to complete it was the diadem. I was wearing teh other items in the set for the times i got the drops. whether this was a function of the game or pure luck, i don't know.
