I have two characters one male at Lvl 24 and he is warfare/ storm, one female at lvl 21 and she is warfare/spirit. Both are stuck at this temple and are having great difficulty attempting to kill the boss NEHEBKAU the Scorpus King. Most times after only a few blows they are dead. Perhaps I need a few hints? as to what to do at this point? Any hint or other help would be well appreciated.

Sorry but no special tactic for killing The Scorpion King...Just kill him and use some potions along...
2 things could be your problem. Your skills or your gear...
About caster/warrior builds, try to focus on melee and don't spread your skills to much. Both your characters could be powerfull, but you have to do them right. Remeber warfare is very weak in defence, and so are storm/spirit/earth for a warrior unless you get all the defensive skills. So a few tips:
1. Since choosing warfare instead of defence go dual wield, since your sheild gets no bonuses. And remeber swords stink (Needs to high Dex and do to little damage)...Get heavy weapons with attackspeed increases instead. Remeber fast kills=Less enemy retaliation. Put almost every attribute point in strength, and very few in dex (Just for requirements on weapon/armor)...NONE in int !!!
2. warfare is weak in defence (Few def skills + no sheild block), therefore take all defensive skills (Dodge attack+Ignore pain). Battle standard raises all skills (both masteries by 1 point), so this raises your defensive skills as well. Don't go battle rage, too little output, way to many points to spend !!! just 1 point for the 50% offensive ability. Remember all damage NOT dealt in %, flatten out quick in this game, so don't spend points on it...
3. Storm in a melee build offers 2 great skills. Storm nimbus tree (elemental damage + heart of ice that slows enemies) max entire line (though not storm nimbus itself=to little damage later) after choosing the warfare defensives. Get weapons that has lightning/ice enchantments to support damage. At later level 35 and up choose Squall that make archers miss and does lightning damage.
4. Spirit has great defence in deathchill armor and ravages of time (Max'em before level 20, and during your maxing of warfare defences), but only good against hand to hand. Epic and legendary archers kills fast, so your build needs some Piercing resistance gear later. At later levels go for Death ward as good defence and/or lich king for distracting your enemies.
