just.. idea...

i dunno i was thinkin where to keep all my junk and finaly i figure out something that MAYBE u know from a long long time but it occure to me just few moments back... why to bring packmule when we have ppl in the INN that we cant use anyway coz of the party number restrictions... so once we have lots of stuff, we just rehire somebody from them, drop them the stuff that we need to be kept and send them in the INN again, and take ur active troop... after when u need this stuff u can always rehire them and take back whats urs :) ...

P.S. I know that in this forum most of u guys REALY know how to play this game but this could be good idea for the noobs (like me) ...what u think, it will work or im dreaming...?

And one more thing, my fears are, once u enter higher difficulty level do u keep all stuff from before (U SHOULD) coz if u do, then this kinda STORAGE METHOD should be REALY COOL :D

Yip, it's a good storage method, I agree, because it is basically 'free space'. I on the other hand, use 6 full-grown donkeys, in Elite. I'm about to start a new solo-profile, and I'm buying 6 donkeys as soon as I have the gold to do it.

1st Donkey: Reagents
2nd Donkey: Reagents/Enchantable items
3rd Donkey: Uniques
4th Donkey: Uniques
5th Donkey: Set Items
6th Donkey: Stuff (like good legendary weapons, quest items, etc...)

When I start my new profile, I'll name the donkeys accordingly.

I was doing that as well for awhile, until the game bugged out on me.
I sent one of my main characters to the inn, grabbed one of the other guys from that in that I was using as a mule, gave him some more stuff, sent him back to the inn.

Then, when I went to grab the one main character back from the inn, she wasnt there!

I ended up having to restore a previous save backup to get her back.

From that point on I rarely used the people in the inn to store stuff, I just dont trust it anymore. If I do, I make sure I do a save and backup before sending anyone to the inn in case it bugs on me again.

AVE CAESAR, MORITVRI TE SALVTANT !

Google for the mod "uberstash".
You'll have a nice BIG, BIG storage vault, the max you could get, no flaws, no bugs in the game after.

Cool storage Idea

I think it would be cool if RPG game designers would make it so that you could buy Houses or Storage in select cities and towns. Only down side to this particular way of storage would be the fact that you would have to go back to the town your house or storage is in to pick up your items.
