the game crashes like mad!!!! (spoiler)

it is a technical problem... but ppl just wont help me in tech support forum or in any other forum XD so i kinda counting on you cause ur all playing the game so maybe you had that problem

when i try to patch trough the game or patchs i found on gamebanshee, an error window pops up saying excactly that:
"This patch cannot be applied to this version of Titan Quest.
Patch requiers version : v1.01
Current version is : UNKNOWN"
i made sure that its not a pc problem by actualy buying a new kickass graphic card and a new power supplier(they were both like 4-5 years old)
so the crash problem as to be in the game.. and WHY cant i patch it??

btw i managed to kill the first stiere shaman boss for like 3 times cause of the soooo many crashes and the fact that he go regenerated lol

when you actually start the game what is the version number listed in bottom right corner

if not shown would advise reinstall of game

he gets unknown version, which means he has a pirated version and ya can't update.
only way to get around it is to actually buy the game.

look on ebay and stuff, I bought my original for like 20 euros when it costs 50 in store.

the guy I bought it from had finished the game and no longer wanted it.
