Stuck at Old Man *possible spoiler*
Help - I have restarted DSII so that I can play Broken World. When I get to the Old Man at the Dryad exile colony, all he will say to me is "Help Me" - preumably I should have spoken to him before I killed all the dryads? Any suggestions? NB I do not have internet access on the machine the game is on.

Where is a know bug at this scholar, patch v2.2 would solve it or probably some mods too - but if can't get online...
So try to replay that sequence, if you already have saved after this bug you have to restart a new char
but that time - as you assume - don't click on the scholar before the evil Dryads are dead.

Yes of course there is. Download it manually from any computer (even a net cafe), so you yourself, then transfer it to a CD then from it to the computer where the game is installed and voila. Here's the link:

Do you already have Broken World, or do you plan to buy it later? Because installing Broken World (which essentially contains the patch) would fix the problem as well.
