Mind Flayers

What's the best way to eliminate mind flayers in the Underdark? These guys are a pain in the Mind Flayer Dungeon. This place it littered with them and that can include those umber hulks that uses confuse on my party.

There is some ways to deal with those mind flayers.

What are your lvls? What is your party?

A generally good strat is to summon sceleton warriors. Immune to that nasty 1-hit-kill thing and the stun things. Another good way is to make pets and then use Horrid Wilting.

use monster summoning, haste and chaotic commands the all work very well
the deadspell is also good if u have him.

The Mind Flayers are (almost) completely helpless against Greenstone Amulets. Summon Mordekainen Sword, pickpocket it (you will need pick pockets about 70), summon Mordekainen Sword, etc. With the amulets, the Mind Flayers cannot stun you or hold you, nevertheless they can INT-drain you. Does not matter, they get harmed seriously in the meantime.
As far as summoning is concerned, the best is Mordekainen Sword again, then Skeleton Warriors.
