You only need one thread man, you only need one for the same subject.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

In dueling I'd say the greatest advantage of a sorc is teleport. In Hell difficulty you find a lot of fire immunes so you're not much use there.

Enchantress subtypes are pretty strong, I've seen them add on 3k damage. For PvP, the only skill you're using if you're a pure fire sorc is Fireball.

Why? Because you can't expect your opponent to stay there and wait for a meteor to hit. I'd suggest going hybrid and getting some cold skills or use items that gives skills/charges that hinder the movement of your opponent.

I have a good amount of Sorc gear for trade if you're on Battle.net (closed). I believe that +skill items don't grant you the synergy bonus, so instead of using +skill items use + damage % to fire, like Ormus's Robes.

Every PvP'er except shapeshifters has Teleport in PvP. The greatest advantages of the sorc are the FCR tables, Energy Shield, and relatively high damage skills.

Whilst this is pretty much true, some good players use Firebolt in addition to Fireball as it is faster and deals about the same amount of damage at high levels (IIRC).

Hybrids are hopeless in PvP. If anyone doesn't have Cannot be Frozen, they are simply 'newb' or it doesn't really affect them.

False. +%dmg adds on top of Fire Mastery. E.g. if you have lvl 35 Fire Mastery (+268%), a 15% Ormus makes it a total of +283% (meaning a very small increase in damage). The most important stat for Fire Sorc's is FCR (you NEED at least 105% for PvP, and if you aren't making an Energy Shield build, I consider 200% to be compulsory.)

When it comes to strategies for a Fire Sorc its simple. Spam Fireballs and Tele away. If you are good enough you might want to throw in some chain-locking against certain opponents.

Hobos, take a look at the Fire sorc guide Noober has written. It's very helpful and includes equipment selection as well as built. The guide is mainly for PvP but with some minor adjustments it can be used as well in PvM.
