Dead leader.. help!

Im sort of new to DS2 and I'm puzzled about this problem..

I have (or had?..) a lvl 45 mage on multiplayer in mercenary lvl travelling with Deru and a wolf. I don't remember dying before exiting the game but the last time I wanted to load her up, she appeared dead. The picture on her icon in multiplayer lobby is not the same and her name doesnt appear in party list. In the game, her icon is marked with the tomb.. and standing in her place is a human female "representative", with no gear on it seems. Impossible to select her or the missing mage. And this female rep stays in town if ever Deru and wolf go anywhere.
Can't summon the dead either because I have no body to show for.

I'm wondering if it's worth the time to try and find her body and if that would do anything? Since I do not remember dying before exiting, I have no idea where to look for exactly but the last few areas I visited. Is she gone forever? Is there some file manipulation I could do that would resolve this?..

Any input would be appreciated.. Thx )

All you have to do is go to a necromancer in a town and he will ask you a question say retrieive the bodys or something and she will be back
