mod/unmod

I used a mod during my single player but when I take the mod out my character dissapears.
does anybody know a backdoor to save my character without the mod so I can take him online?

You may want to look into All Saves by Elys. It allows DS2 to recognize any saved games, but that is all I really know about it. Info is here.
