DS2 Editor / Quest Editor

Anyone know where to get an Editor which allows you to modify quests / quest flags/steps?

I would like to keep the end flag for "Lumilla's Salve" open ended, so it never completes, thereby allowing you to keep getting the reward for collecting 5 nettle clusters (thereby repeatably meeting the quest requirements resulting in the reward).

Anyone know where to get one?

If you don't understand what i mean, it is similar to an editor for Diablo 2 which allows you to edit the quests you have already completed. So, for example, you can keep getting Rare items from Charsi after giving her back the Horidric Malus (Hammer?) by using the editor to keep the quest "uncomplete" even though you have already recieved the quest reward.

Note:
I've completed the game many times over, but i think this would be a nice little thing to add to a gaming experience. Allowing a player to search for nettle-clusters and keep going back for the Salve.

Nettles

If you get one a few nettles in the first game put them in the chest by the teleporter. Add more nettles as you reach them. Note: I've completed several games and always able to satisfy Illumina's quest. Remember the tab key for reviewing areas you a about to miss.

I think you misinterpretted the question.

I can satisfy the quest, and get the salve, easily. However, i want to satisfy the quest...multiple times...in one game. Thereby allowing me to keep getting the salve everytime i get 5 nettle clusters. Therefore, i need an editor to always keep the "quest finish" tag unchecked, even when the quest has been successfully completed. That way, i can keep collecting 5 nettle clusters and keep getting the reward.

This would also work with the ViperClaw quest in theory, as you could buy the needed items and keep getting the ViperClaw reagent by keeping the quest "always active".

Does that make more sense now? Basically i want to keep getting the rewards, everytime i fulfil the requirements. And to do that, i need an editor.

So, my question is, does anyone know of an editor that allows you to edit quests?

Viperclaw

There are three items for a viperclaw. One item is a jagged arrowhead is on the North exit. Go across the narrow bridge right fighting several criters and in a cove contains one jagged arrowhead. The second item is giffon feather found upon finishing the optional area in the Erlan'lu Isles. The last item is found in a cave South Arniths Ravine teleport. The place of interest is after crossing a bridge and you can move immeadately right to the cave of interest.

Again, my appologies, but i'm no good at getting across what i mean.

Let me clarify, i know how to do the quests. I can do the quests, completed them both, on all difficulties. My question is, is there an editor which allows you to edit the quest to make it always available, even AFTER it has been completed.

There was an editor for Diablo 2 which allowed you to fool the computer into thinking the quest reward for Act 1 "Horidric Malus" was never complete, thereby allowing you to keep recieveing rare items from Charsi after you gave her the malus.

Thus, i would like a similar editor so i can keep recieveing the Salve, once i have completed the quest.

For Example:
(standard quest events)

Talk to Lumilla - Get Lumilla's Salve quest
Collect 4 Nettle Clusters
Talk to Lumilla - Get Reward
Quest Finished

That is the standard quest. What i want is an editor which will allow me to do this,

(edited quest)

Talk to Lumilla - Get Lumilla's Salve quest
Collect 4 Nettle Clusters
Talk to Lumilla - Get Reward
Collect 4 Nettle Clusters
Talk to Lumilla - Get Reward

etc etc...repeat until bored of collecting nettle clusters and talking to Lumilla...

I need an editor which will allow me to keep the quest always active, instead of closing the quest once it has been done once. Does that make sense now?

No worries, tom. I'm no good at getting messages across to people, and forums are the worst for conveying messages.

Lady Sophia: I think you're doing fine at asking your question. Unfortunately, I don't know what the answer is. I never really did much with mods in DS2. However, I know there are a lot of mods out there. Have you tried searching for them, perhaps at a site like [url="http://www.planetdungeonsiege.com/"]Planet Dungeon Siege[/url]?

what happens if you accidently sell the items and you cant get them back? i need to complete the quests but the items are not there anymore... am i doing something wrong?

Download Hotfix Mod (v 2.2) or Aranna Legacy Mod (Broken World) and be happy (they let you complete both Lumilla's and Viperclaw quest as many times u want).
