Building an Avenger

Hello

I'm going to start my first Titan Quest. I was wondering which "hybrids" are good class choices. I first thought about an Avenger. Do you guys have any suggestions about other hybrids, like Paladin, Thane or Battlemage? Please share them with me. :-)
