Warfare+Nature: HELP!!!
I just made it to Egypt. I have elected the Warfare Dualwield approach with a secondary mastery in Nature. I am level 18. What few points I have in Nature are going to healing with a few going to the wolf. I am starting to get the feeling that this combanation may not be the best. I am thinking about starting over and going another route. Do I just need to hang in there and things will get better or perhaps realocate my skill points in another direction??? Any suggestions on keeping this character viable and still in the game would be most appreciated.

First off, healing and wolves are in the Nature mastery, earth is a different mastery involving fire and coredwellers. So I changed your post to reflect what you said.
I wouldn't bother wasting points in wolf really. It's glamerous at the beginning but really not worth while later in the game. I would recommend Heart of Oak and the skills that it unlocks. The combo you have right now may be weak, but with heart of Oak, it'll help you last longer in the game to make the combo worth while at higher levels.

Wolf is viable the whole game (aside from normal act 4) if you have +2 to skills giving you 18 call of the wild. That gives you 3 wolves. Also you need 16 points in survival insinct which will give them 80% damage absorption when there life gets low. You will see them get wounded yet rarely die. Max heart of oak too for 85% extra life at max +4.
They are quite a distraction for enemies making fights easier for you. With max +4 strenght of the pack damage is +90% buff for you which is awsome.
Plague 8,8,8 works good with them making the enemies susceptible to damage, weakening them, and infecting everyone they go near.
I think a champion should get 2 wolves pronto (7 call of wild); 1 point at least in heart of oak; Battle Standard/Triumph; Strength of Pack.
You might need to ditch the wolves in act 4 normal but thats the only time as they are awsome in act 4 legendary and decent in act 4 epic (yes wolves scale with difficulty nicely). Another problem with wolves is against Typhon and the Chinese Bull. Those fights they get rocked. But Hades they die yet help you a lot.
Example: Wolfs easily tank hydra when maxed out. Sick the wolves on him run away and fix a cup of coffee. Another example is in greece at all difficulties simply having wolves means you clear hordes so fast the only thing slowing you down is looting!

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.

Never said I liked them, I don't believe I've even played that combination yet because it seems redundant due to earth and storm being almost exactly the same.xxslainxx wrote:*nods* and right she is.
P.S. siberys i made a earth + storm (oracle). I can see why you like them so much. but god their survival rate is less than desired lol
In any case, the combo that I've used is Dream and Warfare. But meh, back on topic.
