Compatibility Between TQ & TQ Immortal Thrown?

Post by FattyLumpkin »

Hi…I am pretty new to the game but am considering upgrading to the xPac. A friend also plays. If he does NOT upgrade can we still play together?

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

No actually, if you upgrade, you lose the ability to use the standard titan quest game. He'd have to upgrade with you as well as have the same game version as you.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Well, you don't lose the ability to play the standard game, when you install the expansion you can either use the Titan Quest shortcut or the Immortal Throne shortcut (which is both the original and the expansion). The characters are separate between the games though, so if you progress in the expansion your character in Titan Quest will not. But you can play your old characters with your friend still if you buy the expansion.
