Fire and Light Sorceress: Skills

Due to screwed up stat distribution (and other shortcomings) I'm rebuilding one of my sorceresses and I've decided to go with a Fire and Lightning Tree Sorceress.

So far I'm thinking that I'll have 20 in Fireball, Meteor and Fire Mastery and the appropriate prerequisites but I've no idea how I should go about building the Lightning side of the skills tree.

By my calculations I'll be using 65 points in the fire tree (1 point in inferno, blaze, firewall and warmth), which gives me roughly 45 points to spend in the Lightning tree. I'd like 1 point in Teleport, Manashield and Static field but would am open to suggestions on how to get the most damage out of this tree.

As far as I know It's quite difficult to get a decent damage from a small investment in the lightning tree.

The two mostly used small investment skills are Frozen orb and Firewall. If you want to do a dual tree Sorc I suggest you use one of these two. Firewall/Chain Lightning for example.

That's really interesting, what are the skill allocations used in this build?

Something like 20 Firewall, 20 Fire master, 20 Chain lightning, 20 lightning mastery, rest in lightning.

You will be somewhat penalized for not using a cold spell, so I recommend that you try to make up for this by using a holy freeze merc.
