I downloaded the walkthrough prepared by Mr. Sinister and his advice for killing Cerberus was to stand outside the gate and make him come to you then hit him.
I have tried this and to some degree it works but how do you get Cerberus to come to the gate? I have been lobbing Lightning bolts (I am maxed on LB) but all he does is roar and every now and then come out to see what all the racket is.
I have 80% shield against poison, is this enough? He has killed me once already when I got trapped inside the door.

You will get trapped just a few times. I don't know your character, but for mine I used Nature and Spirit as my Mastery. This game me two wolves and the Liche King. Nothing like having a backup!! <g> It's possible to run but once the gate closes it's just you and the baddy. Guess that's why I didn't have "too" much trouble.
I tried to follow some D&D rules in that I do not wear anything metal and use only a staff. Can your char use a staff?
Just trying to help.
Be well,

Actually, its possible to stand outside the gate and summon your pet inside. Command it to go as far in as you can see, that should provoke Cerberus to attack and if you can target him, then open the gate and attack while staying put. Do not go beyond the gate. When your pet dies, run back away from the gate again until it closes again. Then repeat as many times as needed until the dog finally dies.
Spells that can be cast through walls (such as eruption, plague, squall etc.) works very well with this strategy. I killed Cerberus with my pyromancer this way using Core Dweller and eruption.

I just stood right under the door, so it didn't close, and "pulled" Cerberus towards me. Just remember to keep standing there!GrimReaperx2 wrote:Actually, its possible to stand outside the gate and summon your pet inside. I also used some of the parts from the Ramses set. That really boosts your poison resist, if you have enough parts. (Got the whole thing with another char )
