How often does this demon show up? SPOILER

Post by C Elegans »

After the planary journeys, a greater Glauzbreu(sp?) is supposed to show up in the Undersigil dungeon. This demon should drop random powerful items. My problems are:
1. The greater Glauzbreu is only there sometimes, not every time. The first time I had to go up and down about 4-5 times before he could be found.
2. The demon has only been dropping money so far, and now I've killed him about 5 times now.

Shouldn't the demon be there every time? Are there any conditions that have to be met?

It might have something to do with your party's level.
There's nothing a little poison couldn't cure...

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

My NO is a level 20 fighter. By now, I've killed the demon at least 10 times, and still no items at all, only money.

Glauzbreu...? Sounds like a German/Russian multifunctional crowbar.
All that can go wrong, will, unless it doesn't, but then, it might anyway.

Nevertheless, I am at level 10 or so, and I have been down there numerous times and I have yet to see anything out of the ordinary. Do I have to do anything special to trigger this appearance?

Yes, the beer demons ;) will not turn up until you have visited other planes and then returned to Sigil. At a certain point in the game, it's obvious you should travel to another plane. When you eventually return to Sigil, head down again and you will find the demons sooner or later! Sometimes there's only one, sometimes there is two. Only demons drop the interesting items, not the other monsters. Good luck! :)
