Questions about DSII

Post by phyxotic »

Hi I've never played Dungeon Siege II other than the demo and I have a few questions.
Ever since Mythos closed down I've been looking for a replacement and since I can't find any free versions other than Dungeon Runners I guess I have to go out and by one ( If you know of any good free ones feel free to let me know)

Any how onto the questions, I was wondering how active is the online multi-player, is it dead now that the game has been out for a while and newer games have come out. When you do go online what is it like, I read some where that you kinda have a "party within a party" meaning I guess you have your own team and the other players have theirs. Are the dungeons random or will I be trekking the same territory over and over going down the same paths ?

Any other general information that you feel like telling me to help sell me on this game is greatly appreciated as well. Thank you all for your time and consideration.

Edit- So out of the 25 people who viewed my thread not a single one of you have bothered to play multi-player...sheesh guess this game is indeed dead, thank you all just the same. :)

Sorry, I wish I could help you, but my DS II game is installed on a computer that doesn't have internet, so I have no idea what multi-player is like.

My understanding is that you play the same campaign in multiplayer that you do in single-player.

SWC
Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Thank you guys for the information, I think I am just going to skip this game and wait for something newer to come out. Maybe save up for Sacred II.
