Getting Ally Achievements - Liara

I played the entire game, with Liara and Wrex. Got the Completionist achievement, but sadly not the Krogan or Asari Ally Achievement...

I went through the list of sidequests available and seems I missed two, both of which are in the citadel which I cant get back to from my current save.

I didnt even know about Achievemnts till I was about level 20, but I used them for everything casue I enjoyed the team dynamic. As far as I know I followed the main quest and only started sidequest after getting Liara, and even if I did a few around the area of Liara's digsite I know I had Wrex with me before diversions.

I am not keen to play through the whole game with them again. I am thinking downloading "Bring Down the Sky" might solve my problem?

Also, while I doubt this, I know that other achievements requirements use the data from all profiles, eg. I can use Overload with one profile 50 times and then use it 25 times with another profile and I will have the 75 uses needed to unlock the achievement. I dont suppose the same is true for Allies? If I continue my profile in a new game starting with level 50 can I do the sidequest with them there to get the achievement?

I think something is messed up with this achievement. I got Liara ASAP, and never put her out of my party, yet I didn't get the achievement.
Allies achievements don't stack.
The good news is that there's a savegame editor that allows you to edit your achievements.

As for you ally achievements... Hard to say. I had to go through with Liara twice before I got it. All I can think of is you perhaps did some side quests on the Citadel before you went and got her on Therum? (Asari Consort, Find the Keepers, A Reporter's Request maybe?) I believe Liara must be present for 15 missions and 50 assignments to get hers - I can't recall the exact number, but the Mass Effect wiki does have a strategy guide for getting all the ally achievements.

Bring Down the Sky has, I believe, three or four assignments in all and it may help if you're "right there". However, don't expect too much from the expansion - it's one single mission and very short.

As for ability stacking, they actually do carry over from profile to profile (at least on the 360 version). I'm not sure which platform you're on and I'm pretty certain the same does not apply to the PC. And no; the Ally Achievements do not carry over. You literally have to have an individual squadmate present for 75% of the game, and if you don't make it the first time you have to start again from square one.

I got them both now. Carried on with my Level 50 Engineer in a new game to try ang get to level 60 and took them both again. After finishing Noveria and Feros and 50 sidequests I got it

, but I only just got level 59 :speech: Need 200 000xp more to get to 60
