fallout 1,2,BOS, tactics

Post by iforgotmycoat »

my 360 got the RROD so ive heard about how great the old fallout games are, and i was wondering if there are any for the original xbox.

i have heard from many people that fallout 2 is the best, so do i need to play fallout 1 to understand any of the other fallout games?

which one do you think is the best, is you could give me a nice little review. story, replay, combat, ect.

As far as I know, there aren't any Fallouts on the Xbox.
Personally, I enjoyed Fallout 2 the most, since it has a lot more going on. Gameplay wise, the two are identical.
Replayability is great, since there are really a lot of different options to finish quests and even the game. Your choices determine a lot at the end.
Gameplay isn't close to Fallout 3. (Luckily.) It is turnbased combat, which means that you move & act, then the enemy. I can imagine that a lot of the current gamers find that boring, but I disagree.
Google can help you with reviews.

I like Fallout more than the second part. Fallout 2 offers much longer gameplay, but Fallout offers more fun per minute. It's one of the few games which I liked so much that I finished it more than once.

There was Brotherhood Of Steel on the origional xbox. It wasn't to alot of peoples liking. More like Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance 1 and 2 with guns!

I liked it, and got slated for it!!!!

But, Hey! each to their own
