Help in Ice Temple

Hey its my first time posting here and hope I can get some help. Ive played through IWD2 several times and have never had this strange problem:
I'm having a problem setting the gnomes pet free. When I try to open the door there is no way to open it. When the cursor goes over the door the little door icon doesn't show. It's like the door isnt there...but it is. I have the symbol I need to open the doors in the temple and can open all other doors.
I tried leaving the area and coming back in but that didn't help either. Is there a way to cheat my way around this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I had a problem similar to that but it was just a glich.... not shure what to do

Ill ask some other guys and see if they can help ya.
