Dark handmaiden

Post by szenhidrat »

I'm at the edge of DS and gained a lot of influence on handmaiden. At first everything seems fine, her aligment goes down and her portrait changes to a black hooded portrait but after about 1-2 minutes her portrait changes back on its own to the original white hooded portrait and the aligment bar is exatly at the middle. Am i doing somethig wrong or it's simply impossible to make her evil?

She only responds to good alignment shifts in dialogue, they never happen for evil ones (you just lose influence). The only way to turn her evil correctly is to never have her in your party during a dialogue that might affect her.

I remember a funny bug I had when I initially played the game as a LS character. Each time I had a positive influence shift with Handmaiden, or any other character for that matter, their alignment would shoot into the negative extreme of mine. Hence, when I had LS mastery, all positive influence conversations would result in my companions ending up with DS mastery.

Reloading fixed this. Funny thing is, it only occurred during my first play through. Perhaps Handmaiden's alignment in your game is suffering from a similar bug as mine.
