How do I holster my weapon?

Oh boy I've been away for a long time....

How do I holster my weapon? I'm in the abandoned apartment and holding my sword. Now how do I put it away?

Sorry for asking such a basic question, but I really don't remember much.

You can't holster weapons. Only lightsabers can be deactivated, the rest sorta hang limply by your side after awhile. The next best thing is to unequip it altogether.

Actually, its probably not 100% what you are looking for but there is a mod that allows you to "holster" your weapons.
