How do you choose special talents?

I have enough experience points to get something like Offensive Combat I, but how do I select it and lock it in? When I click on it it just highlights in green and shows me what weapons it works with, but I can't find a way to actually *choose* it.

I can't tell. Are you having trouble purchasing the talent or using the talent? If it's the former, then you have to have enough gold and experience to make the purchase. If it's the latter, then you should put the talent in your hotkey bar and turn it on from there.

I think you meant [url="http://www.gamebanshee.com/drakensangthedarkeye/specialabilities.php"]Special Abilities[/url].

You cannot just "choose" those, you need to find a trainer and pay gold (and experience points) to unlock the abilitity.
