Budget Rig for Dragon Age

Post by Loki[D.d.G] »

Heya guys.

I've been considering a cheap-ish budget system build for my sister when I return to my home country soon. One of the main requirements she posed for me is for it to be able to run DA:O. I know all about the recommended system requirements widely available online, but still want confirmation on this; Will an ATI HD4850 and a Pentium Dual Core E6300 OCed to 3.xGHz speeds be able to run that game smoothly at any resolution?

Could anyone be so kind as to post their system specifications and the maximum possible resolution which provided smooth playable frame rates?

Thanks a bunch in advance. :)

I run an e8400 and an 4850, both at stock. They tear through DA:O. All settings at max (at 1650x1050) and I haven't noticed ANY stuttering at all, not even during heavy combat. I sadly don't have any FPS numbers though.
