Just wanted to make a post to find what exactly are the differences & if the "WORK"
what i mean is i heard their are spells & stuff that doesn't work in CE & was wondering if that's the same for non CE.
I have non CE & am wondering if it's worth my time & effort to grab CE & do the extra's work properly?
ANY help would be appreciated
THX in advance
collector & non collector differences
The CE contains some extra quests and enemies, a new location, and a new class, but it works (or doesn't work) just the same as the 1.4 patch.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"

There is one big difference between 1.4 and 1.5: The terrain has been 'overhauled' which means the climbing spots have changed greatly. Most notably, the easy climbs from 1.4 where you could walk up straight without having to do backflips have been replaced with smooth, steep rock faces.
You can still find places to climb, but you'll need to search the landscape anew and they are more difficult to manage.
Also, many of the 'emergency rocks' that you could climb have been lowered almost to ground level where they're useless. While it may seem a nuisance for starting mages, playing a Ranger Lord is more difficult by a large margin.

Or use a macro manager to make a special key binding that greatly reduces clipping, which is what I did and since then climbing has been soooooo much easier for me. What the macro does is simple: as soon as I press the button, the game freezes. If I press the button again it unfreezes. And if I do it while jumping against a mountain, as soon as the freeze stops my character does a really huge leap, often jumping up the entire mountain even if it's actually very steep and impossible to climb! The same also works when new monsters are spawned because it also causes the game to freeze for a moment: if it happens while I'm jumping against the mountain, after the freeze my character will have jumped up and be on the mountain. There is one big difference between 1.4 and 1.5: The terrain has been 'overhauled' which means the climbing spots have changed greatly. Huh? Why would the Ranger Lord be harder to play in 1.5? Are you referring to the very powerful bow the ascension boss was given in version 1.5 (which may make it harder to actually become a ranger lord, but easier as soon as the boss is defeated because the player can then use that bow himself), or does it actually have something to do with climbing on rocks and firing off a bow? Cause with enough points in Critical Shot, standard hit and run tactics would usually do them in quickly enough, without the need to climb on rocks or stuff like that... just fire off a few rounds of ammo and wait for critical hits. Also, many of the 'emergency rocks' that you could climb have been lowered almost to ground level where they're useless. Maybe I'm just too old to play a Ranger Lord. I really need the 'escape rocks', and from my experience, the Eagle Eye does even less in 1.5 than it did in 1.4. Critical hits with ranged weapons are too scarce and too few to make it useful for me, regardless of game version. Just not my thing, I guess.
