Bug in underdark

Hey,

recently restarted with BG2 since I never finished the game (and will have new pc soon to start with dragon age).

Everything went well untill I arrived in underdark. For a second I thought the map lived up to its name but it seems i've got quite a bug, the entire map is black except my party and the npc's.

Anyone knows how i can resolve this? (have got the latest patch, tried reloading or runnign towards the closest instance and there I had the same problem.
