Now that my soloist L17 mage is outfitted with Lifegiver, Dragonbone, and Rockknocker, I feel invincible. I pretty much am invincible. Combat has become much too easy. It's sad that this was fairly easy to achieve with a party of one. I shudder to think what I'm going to do to the Darkspawn on my next playthrough as a party of four.
Are there any mods that make things a little more difficult? I suppose I could impose restrictions on my party's composition, talents, and equipment, but that's not the approach I prefer.
This game needs a higher difficulty setting than Nightmare. Mods?

I take the silence as a resounding "No", there are no difficulty mods out there. That's a shame, because I was composing in my mind a party of three Arcane Warriors plus a Templar. The player character casting intricate and area-of-effect spells, Morrigan robotically doling out damage and knockdowns, and Wynne healing, buffing, and tanking. I was hoping for enemies worthy of facing three magi who know Crushing Prison and Stonefist.
No, huh? I guess I shall have to impose restrictions on my party's composition, talents, and equipment for my next playthrough.
I haven't had a rouge in my party before, so my PC will be a longsword/dagger rouge with enormous cunning. I haven't had an archer or a pocketpicker before, so I'll use Leliana with a bow. Magic is so much fun that I think I'm going to have a Spirit Healer who's not allowed to cast spells on enemies; just buffs, debuffs, and glyphs.
The fourth party slot will be occupied by whatever character might have dialogue lines during whatever quest I'm on. All NPCs will be archers if possible.
I need to make a rule that permits me to use crafting, but prevents me from abusing it. I think that will be: I'm not allowed to buy materials from a stack of 99, except Flasks, Trap Triggers, and the three types of Agents. So no bottomless well of mana and health potions for me. In fact, I think Lyrium Dust will be very hard to find.
