dual wielding noble dwarf warrior

Post by arryjan »

hey there,

I was new to the game but after a few 'tests' I discovered I like the noble dwarf warrior type best..only drawback; the sword and shield fighting..it just doesn't work for me. liked the dual wielding common dwarf but the storyline didn't had the 'spice' the noble had. so can anyone help me with a good build for a DW noble dwarf warrior perhaps? :o

Just because the dwarf noble starts out with a Sword and Shield talent doesn't mean that you can't invest all your other talents in dual wielding. Personally, I'd max all of the rows under Dual Wielding except the first, which would only have two points in it. Of course aim to get Deathblow as soon as possible.
“The world breaks every one and afterward many are strong at the broken places. But those that will not break it kills. It kills the very good and the very gentle and the very brave impartially.”

I totally agree with you about the whole not being a sword and shield fighter. i love how the dwarf dual wields weapons. i actually though like to max out the first bar as soon as possible so i can dual wield two swords (ex: Starfang and Keening blade). The one thing i have noticed about the dwarfs is how resistant they are to magic which really comes in handy :)

I have to say that, in version 1.02, the noble dw dual wield warrior, particularly a templar/berserker (some might say /reaver) is far and away the best. If you are using a party and not going solo, this is especially true. You can run ahead and ignore your party and kill everything yourself, and your party backs you up a little and heals you for extra insurance against any rare time a challenge crops up.

If you use a whole party, then you can pump your str and use big weapons and kill stuff without hearly even stunning them, you do so much dam so fast.
